The Doctor's Wife has won the Ray Bradbury award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation at the Nebula Awards. The episode was written by Neil Gaiman and directed by Richard Clark.

Weekend update

The BBC press office have released details of Series 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Richard Clark, Director of episode 3, has confirmed night filming has ended, with at least another week of filming ahead, more details might become avaiable.

Wednesday update

A pull out poster was in yesterdays Sun Newspaper, who are currently running a Doctor Who competition for Tickets to Manchester's Doctor Who Live.

The Sarah Jane Adventures series 4 kicks off with Episode 1 of The Nightmare Man on Monday 11th Oct BBC1 at 5.15, episode 2 is on Tuesday. With repeats on BBC1 on Wednesday and Thursday at 4.30 pm (please note the time change for the repeats)





Richard Clark director of episode 3 & 4, says there's another nine nights of shooting for Neil Gaimans episode 3. Also that even with the series split in two, all thirteen episodes will be filmed together. Here is a better pic of filming in the quarry of Taff Wells.

Thursday update 2

The Guinness world records book 2011 out now, has a small section about Doctor Who.
Director Richard Clark has been tweeting again today -

'A days filming free of stunts, monsters, mayhem and madness. It's barely Dr Who at all. Although there is of course a giant foot. '

Tuesday update

Richard Clarke been tweeting that they have been filming the climax today.

Quotes - "I'm scared filming this. The kids are gonna freak", and "Big finale today. Complex. Lots to co-ordinate. But it's looking seriously gorgeous."

A previous lost play featuring Patrick Troughton has been unearthed in Washington, called 'Freedom in September' it was part of the play of the week from 1962.

Filming has started at St. Winefride’s and Jane Hodge Nursing Homes. Now closed ,this site is due for redevelopment.
According to director Richard Clark, this filming is for episodes 4 & 5.
These two episodes make up the first recording block along with Neil Gaiman's episode 3
