John Barrowman has been reported in showing an interest in returning to Doctor Who, especially for the 50th anniversary in 2013.


A special Doctor Who Insider, will be avaiable in the UK from tomorrow, featuring the best bits of issues 1-4 (see pic)


A selection of Doctor Who and Torchwood stars have been attending Comic Con in America, videos to follow.

Tom MacRae has been speaking to the Northampton Chronicle about his upcoming episode, The Girl Who Waited, he said.

It’s wonderful writing for Matt, he’s such a fantastic actor and a genuinely lovely guy. He’s about the same age as me, we’re from the same town and we’ve got a lot of friends in common, so it was great to work with him. And as The Doctor, I admire him so much. I’m a huge fan of what he’s done on the show, I would say he’s 'my Doctor'.


I went down onto the set quite a lot and it was great to see it filmed. It’s a real tear-jerker of an episode and it’s very much focused on Karen. Her acting in it is amazing. I know she’ll break the viewers’ hearts in two when they watch it, it’s so emotional.

Series 6, Episode 10.

Although not confirmed, A title for episode ten, written by Tom MacRae has appeared on some internet sites. The title is The Girl Who Waited.

Thursday Update

The series 6 page has been updated with Tom MacRae's episode 10 been given the intriguing title of The Green Anchor, awaiting confirmation, as this is only a rumour.

A longer coming soon trailer has been rescheduled for Tuesday 29th March.

If you visit the Torchwood site, you can see the publicity poster for the upcoming Torchwood: Miracle day. The American transmission date has been set as Friday 8th July 2011. The UK transmission is due around the same time.

Wednesday Update

In this Month DWM (issue 432, available tomorrow) Toby Whithouse's Episode 11 is given the title The God Complex.

Toby also says:

Steven Moffat said ‘The Doctor and Amy are trapped in a hotel and the geography keeps shifting.’ I said, ‘Oh yeah?’ He said, ‘No, that’s literally as far as we’ve got.’” Toby explains. “So that was the starting point. That one line. A lot of the ideas just fell into place...

It also says that Nick Hurran is directing this and Tom MacRaes episode 10.

This means episodes 10,11 & 12 are in the same recording block.
