Children in Need 2013 - Update
According to listings, a preview of the anniversary special The Day of the Doctor, will be shown as part of the BBC's annual fund raising event Children in Need on Friday 15th November BBC1 @ 7.30pm.

The BBC have indicated that there will be a Doctor Who presence on this years annual fundraiser on Friday 15th November. More details to follow. Click above logo to go to the official site.
Nor-Con 2012
The annual sc-fi event in Norwich has relocated to the Holiday Inn in Hellesdon, for previous years it has been held at the UEA. Guests confirmed are Doctors Colin Baker & Sylvester McCoy. The event will take place on Sunday 2nd September. More details can be found here.

Cambridge Science Festival
Don't forget about the Cambridge Science festival this weekend. As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, The Hyde Fundraisers are putting on a display of their replica costumes and also on Saturday the sixth Doctor himself Colin Baker will be there.
Steven Moffat - Comic Relief
For all you tweeters out there - a chance (in support of comic relief) to be followed by showrunner Steven Moffat for 90 days, also a phone call from Steven & Matt, scripts, tickets to the Doctor Who Experience and tickets to the screening of the The Impossible Astronaut.
All you have to do is donate on ebay.
Charity event
Local fund raiser Dalek Winston will be at our fund raising event for our work colleague, come and have your photo taken with him Sunday August 1st, Whitlingham country park Norwich.
