Matt Smith has told the Sun Newspapers TV Guide that he will return for the 8th series of Doctor Who, after filming a feature film, to do the Christmas special in the summer and start series 8 towards the end of 2013 and start of 2014.
Matt has said:
People are always going to ask because they care about the show. But I take it year by year. And this year is going to be the biggest one in the show’s history.
