Although the BBC have announced that a series of 14 episodes have been commissioned starring Matt Smith, no announcement has been made on the scheduling of the series. Rumours abound that 2012 will be a year of Specials, building up to 2013 which is the 50th anniversary of the series.
Something is afoot and Steven Moffat has tweeted for us to be patient. All that we do know is that one of the episodes will be the 2012 Christmas special.
