Steven Moffat has been watching the trailer for series 6, teasing comments on Twitter.
Piers Wenger quotes from recent interview.
That’s the promise that the Who team are planning to keep with next years season.
Doctor Who Producer Piers Wenger has been revelling a few more details about the the upcoming Series 6. He told Bullz-Eye that the entire production staff feel under pressure to top the previous years 13 episodes run:
“That’s the challenge we’re currently engaged in,” he confirmed. “That’s why we’re going off to to the States to film for the opening two-parter, and that’s why Steven [Moffat] is coming up with more dark and complicated and strange things to inflict upon Rory and Amy… to complicate their relationship.”
He also added, rather wrily, that the series might be dealing that old chestnut of who exactly is River Song? Promising some ‘big truths’ would be revelled during the seasons two parts.
Wenger also confirmed Matt Smith’s claims that the Weeping Angels have more than meet their match with this seasons new big bad- currently terrorising our heroes out in Utah:
“They are quite terrifying,” he claimed. “I worry for the sanity of some of our fans. I worry for our own sanity! They are properly scary. They are really going to make the Weeping Angels look like a bunch of stuffy old statues.”
